JAM!

I'll say it again - I love jam! Growing up, my mother always made strawberry jam - which spoiled me, because that was all I liked. The stuff in the jar from the grocery never interested me. Then I made this...It was ok. It didn't look like this - The middle layer has raspberry jam in it - which didn't really set up right. Either way - I had some leftover jam - and we ate it for breakfast the next day and I looooooooooved it! Who knew? Thanks Smuckers. My mom made some peach jam too that was sugary and amazing.

I also had some raspberry jam in Colorado that Megan made - and I also LOOOOOOOOVED it. So today I took a crack at it and let me tell you, it was a SUCCESS!! See the progress below...

I didn't even make that big of a mess!! It was quite a process - I of course didn't buy enough berries so I ran to the grocery AGAIN to buy more. Then when I got to the sugar - I ran out. My sweet neighbor, I'll call her Mrs. X, let me borrow some to finish the jam - it's a very precise recipe. But it worked out for the best!
...except now I have to stare at it for 24 HOURS until it sets!!
